To add a hot spare by using the Storage Array Configuration Wizard

1. On the Tools menu, click Wizards>Storage Array Configuration Wizard.

2. On the Welcome panel, select the storage array that contains the hot spare that you want to add, and then click Next.

3. On the How do you want to configure the storage array? panel, click I only want to configure hot spares, and then click Next.

4. In the Available Physical Disks list, select the physical disk that you want to use as a hot spare.

5. Click the bottom right arrow to move the selected physical disk to the Hot Spares list.

6. Click Next.

7. On the Summary panel, ensure that the Hot Spare Count is correct, and then click Finish.
