Configuring partitions on NetWare media servers for robotic library sharing

Before you configure NetWare media servers for robotic library sharing, you must ensure that there is currently no backup activity. You can use either the Backup Exec for NetWare Servers Administration Console or the Administration Console for NetWare to configure partitions on robotic libraries.

Step	Action
Step 1	Ensure that you are connected to the server and that the partition management feature is enabled. Refer to Using the SAN Shared Storage Option in the Symantec Backup Exec for NetWare Servers documentation for more details.
Step 2	Delete existing partitions. Do one of the following: See Deleting robotic library partitions from the Backup Exec for NetWare Servers Administration Console. See Deleting robotic library partitions from the Administration Console for NetWare.
Step 3	Create partitions. Do one of the following: See Creating robotic library partitions using the Backup Exec for NetWare Servers Administration Console. See Creating robotic library partitions using the Administration Console for NetWare.
Step 5	Restart Backup Exec for NetWare Servers on the group servers and make sure you can see the shared library on each server.
