The following are the minimum system requirements for running this version of the Desktop Agent.

The following operating systems are supported:

  • Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later

  • Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition

  • Microsoft Windows Vista

  • Microsoft Windows 7

The Desktop Agent is not supported on any server operating system, including Windows Server 2003/Storage Server 2003/2000 Server.

Memory

Required: 256 MB RAM

Recommended: 512 MB (or more for better performance).

Internet browser

Internet Explorer 5.01 or later; however, version 5.5 is recommended.

Disk space

25 MB hard disk space is required after Microsoft Windows is installed (typical installation). Additional space may be required if the desktop user data folder is enabled.

Other hardware

Network interface card or a virtual network adapter card.
