Moving the desktop user data folder

You can change the location of the desktop user data folder if your profile allows it.

To move the desktop user data folder

  1. In the Tasks bar, under Tools, click Settings.

  2. On the Backup Folders tab, click Move.

  3. In the Browse for folder dialog box, choose a new location for the desktop user data folder.

  4. Click OK.

  5. When prompted to continue, click Yes.

  6. Click OK.
