Name |
Indicates the unique name of the folder. | ||
Storage path |
Indicates the location of the folder on the computer. Symantec strongly recommends that you use a dedicated volume.

Database path |
Indicates the location where you want to place the database that is installed when you create the deduplication storage folder. You may want to use a separate volume for the database path. This option is not required. However, using a separate path may improve the database’s performance. If you do not select a different volume for the database path, then Backup Exec uses the same path that you entered in the Storage path field.

Allow x concurrent operations for this device |
Indicates the maximum number of jobs that you want to run at the same time on this device. | ||
Logon account |
Indicates the name of the logon account that is required to access this device.
