Configuring client-side deduplication
Client-side deduplication enables a remote computer that is configured as a Remote Agent for Deduplication to send data directly to an OpenStorage device or a deduplication storage folder.

In the Selections view, select resources from the remote computer that is set up as a Remote Agent for Deduplication.
In the Device and Media view, select an OpenStorage device or a deduplication storage folder as the destination device. Then, verify that is selected.
