Use the following steps to restore a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Web application to its original location.

When you restore a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Web application, all documents that are contained in the Web application’s content databases are overwritten. |
To restore a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Web application to its original location

Expand the server farm that contains the Web application that you want to restore.

Expand the content database, and then select the backup set that contains the content database that you want to restore.
If the Web application contains multiple content databases, expand the other content databases and select the corresponding backup sets for those databases as well.

In the Restore Job Properties pane, under Settings, click Microsoft SharePoint.

In the Restore Job Properties pane, select other restore options as needed.

To run the job now
Click Run Now.
To schedule the job to run later
Do the following in the order listed:

In the Properties pane, under Frequency, click Schedule.

Set the scheduling options.

Click Submit.
