Use the following steps to recover a Lotus Domino server and its databases.

Restore or re-install the Lotus Domino server program directory to the same location as before the disaster occurred.

Restore the notes.ini, cert.id, and <server>.id files from the last full backup of the Lotus Domino server program directory.

Use Backup Exec to restore the databases to the Domino data directory.
Backup Exec automatically restores all DAOS NLO files along with the DAOS-enabled databases. In addition, Domino automatically recreates both the
daos.cfgfile and thedaoscat.nsfwhen you restart the Domino server.
