You can schedule LiveUpdate to check for updates for Backup Exec.

To schedule automatic updates using LiveUpdate
On the Tools menu, click Options.
On the properties pane, under Settings, click LiveUpdate.
Complete the appropriate options.
See Application settings for LiveUpdate.
Click OK.
