Job name |
Shows the job name that was entered during job configuration. |
Job type |
Shows the type of operation that was performed, such as Back up, Back Up and Delete, Catalog, Restore, or Verify. |
Job status |
Shows the status of the operation. |
Job log |
Shows the file name and location of the job log. |
Server name |
Shows the name of the media server that processed the job. |
Selection list name |
Shows the name of the selection list that was processed in the job. |
Device Name |
Shows the name of the device that processed the job. |
Target name |
Shows the name of the device that was selected during job configuration. |
Media set name |
Shows the name of the media set that processed the job. |
All Media Used |
Lists all the media that was used to process the job. |
Byte count |
Shows the number of bytes that were processed. (This item does not appear in the Job History for catalog jobs.) |
Job rate |
Shows the amount of data that was backed up per minute for the entire job. (This item does not appear in the Job History for catalog jobs.) |
Files |
Shows the total number of files that were processed. |
Directories |
Shows the total number of directories that were processed. |
Skipped files |
Shows the number of files that were skipped during the operation. |
Corrupt files |
Lists the number of corrupt files that were encountered during the operation. |
Files in use |
Lists the number of open files that were encountered during the operation. |
Original start time |
Shows the time the job was submitted for processing. |
Job started |
Shows the time the operation started. |
Job ended |
Shows the time the operation ended. |
Elapsed time |
Shows the length of time the operation took. |
Set type |
Lists the type of operation that was performed on the media set, such as Back up, Back Up and Delete, Catalog, Restore, or Verify. |
Set status |
Shows the status of the operation. |
Set description |
Shows the job name that was entered during job configuration. |
Resource name |
Lists the name of the resource for the job. |
Logon account |
Lists the name of the logon account that was used for the job. |
Encryption key |
Indicates if an encryption key was used for the job. |
Error |
Shows the error code, if an error occurred. You can use the job log to locate where the error occurred and to get additional information about the error from the Unique Message Identifier. See Linking from the job log to the Symantec Technical Support Web site. In addition, you can user error-handling rules to enable retry options and final job disposition for jobs when this error occurs. |
Agent used |
Indicates if a Backup Exec agent was used during the operation. |
Advanced Open File Option used |
Indicates if the Advanced Open File Option was used during the operation. |
Start time |
Shows the time the operation started. |
End time |
Shows the length of time the operation took. |
