Placing the job queue on hold

You can place the entire job queue on hold to make changes to your environment. The server is paused to place the job queue on hold. When the job queue is on hold, only active jobs continue to run. No other jobs run until the job queue is taken off hold.

To place the job queue on hold

  1. On the navigation bar, click Job Monitor.

  2. On the Job List tab, in the task pane, under General Tasks, check Hold job queue.

  3. Click Yes.
